Scenery

Lanzarote

  • colourful and at the same time desolate

  • symbol of modern spirit and tradition

  • physical expression of extremes

Lanzarote - colourful and at the same time desolate

Subdivided into 3 areas:

The north of the island is rough and forbidding, but the valley of 1000 palm-trees in Haria is a very beautiful green place.

In the middle of the island we meet sand, El Jable, and in north-west volcanic rock. Teguise, the legendary old capital, is the centre.

At the Papagayo Beaches in the south the sea plays affectionately around the small bays with its dreamlike sand. This paradise is to be found at the foot of the Ajaches. Burnt in late summer, prosperous in spring.

Calderas, boulders and many volcanic gullets

Calderas, boulders and many volcanic gullets attest to the natural disasters which have afflicted Lanzarote in the past.

The National Park Timanfaya reminds us on a moon scape - unreal and at the same time fascinating. The silence in the air is mysteriously haunting...

César Manrique - Architecture in accordance with nature

It's due to César Manrique that Lanzarote is like it is today:

Timanfaya is biosphere reservation, there aren't any hoardings in the streets and building projects have to fulfill legal restraints.

Spectacular beach - Playa de las Conchas, La Graciosa

As dazzling as the fire mountains are, so too multicoloured and different are the beaches surrounding the island.

Here you can meet the elemental forces of the sea with all its faces - wild and powerful or smooth and purling...

Play of colours: El Golfo

It is this contrast which characterizes Lanzarote and invites us to feel, to experience and to sense.

Time seems to have forgotten this place, but the elements still play with each other. We're connecting with these elemental basics to detect resources and transfer them into creative energy in group or individual settings.

Evening spirit - Sunset in Famara

In this way Lanzarote becomes a place of  intensive contact:

  • with the elemental power of nature

  • with our creativity

  • with ourselves
